CIS is open to any learner who is studying on their own without being enrolled in a College or University. You submit your work here for documentation and support.
Any course may be studied but courses without open course content may be more difficult to get endorsed if our volunteers can not gain access to the course content for evaluating your work.
The course holders below do not have course content in them, they only serve to provide a place for you to submit your work.
Lectures and Textbooks are readily available on thousands of course subjects. There are far too many for us to list here. We no longer provide the content or links to classes, please use a search engine or an open course-ware link site for that.

This weeks featured content provider is:

Professor Wally: Wallace H. Provost Jr Wally provides both content written by him and use for years at the University of Southern Florida in classes he taught as well as support for these courses including review of your submitted essays and real-time discussion of materials. Professor Wally's service can be purchased or used for free here.
Collegiate Independent Study is a process where you document you learning and demonstrate your understanding in such a way that anyone looking at you educational documents can know they you have mastered the course materials and truly attained the level of education required for service. Collegiate Independent Study can be done in coordination with a traditional college education to demonstrate you mastery of the material beyond the requirements of the university you are attending but it is most often done independently to master materials without the aid of an educational institution or professors.
However you chose to do it, Collegiate Independent Study Dot Net will not be issuing you a degree or diploma. We will simply issue an opinion as to the completeness of your chosen program and it's applicability to a chosen major of study. This may or may not meet the needs of a future employer or other institution looking for educational credentials from you.
The better the quality of your documentation, the better your chances of your demonstration documents being excepted to meet educational requirements.
